What is permanent jewelry?
Gracefully Golden is a mobile permanent jewelry and bracelet bar based in the Raleigh area. We travel to private events and pop-ups in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding North Carolina communities. Is it really permanent?
The short answer is... it's as permanent as you want it to be. There's no clasp, so it won't accidentally fall off or get lost; but if you ever need or want to remove it, a simple pair of scissors does the trick in seconds. We like to think of it less as "permanent" and more as "always there when you want it, easy to remove when you don't."
Does it hurt?
Not at all! The weld happens in a split second and you won't feel a thing. We use a small shield to protect your skin, and the whole process is completely safe. Most people are surprised by how quick and easy it is.We also adjust the fit so it’s comfortable for everyday wear.
How do I take it off if I need to?
If you ever need to remove your bracelet, simply cut the small jump ring with scissors or wire cutters. Save the chain, and in many cases we can re-weld it for you at a future appointment or event.
Can I shower, swim, and work out with it?
Yes, you can shower, swim and work out with your jewelry. We use high-quality metals that are made for everyday wear. As with all jewelry, harsh chemicals, pools, and hot tubs may cause normal wear over time, so a quick rinse and gentle dry is always a good idea.
What metals do you offer?
We offer a curated selection of high-quality chains in sterling silver, 14 solid gold, and 14k gold-filled chosen for everyday wear. Our collection is designed to be low-maintenance, beautiful, and perfect for stacking. Ask us about current options when you book or at your event.

How much does it cost?
Pricing varies depending on the chain style and length, and whether you add any charms. We'll always be upfront with you on pricing before we get started so there are no surprises. Our bracelet prices start at $50 and we source high-quality metals designed to last for years with everyday wear.
Will it set off airport security?
Good news! Permanent jewelry is so delicate and uses such a small amount of metal that it almost never triggers airport security. Our clients fly with theirs all the time without a second thought. And if for any reason you are asked to remove it, just save the chain and we'll happily reweld it for you when you're back in town. Just one more reason to love it!
What about MRIs?
Permanent jewelry is often MRI-safe! Because we use non-magnetic metals, many technicians will simply test your piece beforehand and clear you to keep it on. That said, every facility and every situation is a little different, so always let your MRI technician know you're wearing it ahead of time. They'll test it and guide you from there. In most cases, you won't have to cut it off at all.
What if it breaks or I need to remove it?
If it breaks, we can reweld it! And if you ever need it removed for any reason, a simple pair of scissors does the job in seconds. It's permanent in the sense that there's no clasp, but you're never truly stuck.
What age do you need to be?
We welcome clients ages 8 and up! One thing to keep in mind for younger guests — as children grow, their wrist size will change, so the bracelet may need to be resized or replaced over time. Anyone under 18 just needs a parent or guardian present to give consent and sign our waiver. We absolutely love doing mom-daughter appointments... there's something really sweet about getting a piece together!
What does a private or party booking look like?
We'd love to be part of your next celebration! Private events are such a fun way to treat your guests to something they'll wear and remember long after the party's over. We do require a $300 minimum spend for private bookings, and most events fit comfortably within a two-hour window. The minimum can be met through individual guest purchases, covered completely by the host as a gift, or some custom combination we work out together.
